So after six years LOST is finally coming to an end. It's a little tragic but I'm so excited about finding out what it was all about that I can hardly contain myself!

I haven't updated my favorite episodes for seasons 4 and 5 so I decided to hook you up with that!

The Beginning of the End

This was the season premier and WOW...what a premier it was. Flasbacks are sooo 2004! It's all about the flash forward now. This is a Hurley-centric episode so you are in for some laughs...but also a little heart breaking tragedy. Solid episode all the way around!

The Constant

This is one of my top 5 all time favorite episodes of LOST. You get everything in this episode: action, suspense, drama, comedy...i mean really, you get it all. It has one of the biggest tear jerker moments of the series too! Loooove it!

Meet Kevin Johnson

Ok, so I really wavered on this one. I decided if I had never seen LOST before and I hadn't been spoiled by the producers I would have been blown away! So for that reason I included this one. If you've never seen the show, I'm not gonna spoil who Kevin Johnson is! Let's just say you may be a little surprised! ;)

The Shape of Things to Come

Um, all I have to say about this episode is HOLY CRAP! It's a Ben Linus episode and we get another clue about the nature of the Smoke Monster (and who's in control of it). Oh! Someone dies too! Enough said!

Cabin Fever

We get to visit Jacob's cabin! We get the furthest flashback ever! We get a team up of Locke, Ben and Hurley! Could you really ask for anything more!?!?! Oh! and a betrayal you may (or may not have) seen coming!!!

There's No Place Like Home pt 1

This is the first part of the 3 part season finale. Guess who finds out they have the same father!?!? It's a good teaser episode for the final two!

What I'm Watching Now
part 1

So I know it's been a while but I've been busy and a bit uninspired! I am in Kansas right now for a job and I have had time to catch up on a lot of television! So the next few posts will be about the shows I'm obsessing about!

DOLLHOUSE

Dollhouse is Joss Whedon's new baby. It tells the story of a very secret organization in LA that wipes the minds of it's employees (the dolls) so that they can be imprinted with whatever personality the client requires. The Dollhouse is certainly questionable in the morality department!

Eliza Dushku (Faith from Buffy) is the lead Doll (Echo) and she's pretty good. I still have a problem with excepting her as anyone but Faith. Apparently little Miss Echo has issues of some kind and it isn't exactly clear if she was forced to join the Dollhouse or not!

The best thing about the show so far is the mystery of Alpha. Alpha was a former Doll who apparently started keeping some of his imprints. He went crazy and killed a bunch of people in the Dollhouse and carved up Whedon fav Amy Acker who plays the resident Doctor.

Apparently, Alpha has a hard on for Echo and we have to tune in to find out what he's willing to do to get to her (not to mention who plays him)! If he's as hot from the front as he is from the back --I say RIGHT ON ECHO!!! You get you some hot psycho guy!!! Lucky bitch!

Oh! Special props to the guy Doll (Enver Gjokaj) who keeps having an erection when he runs into his Doll crush (Dichen Lachman) in the Dollhouse group shower! They are really cute! As usual Whedon's supporting characters are real scene stealers!

New Shows That I Love

Let's just admit it...this wasn't the season for great new shows! Between the writer's strike and just crappy shows I had very few to pick from. I think the choices I made this time are great so if you haven't checked them out yet...get on the ball!!!

Samantha Who?

I have loved Christina Applegate since Married...With Children. I wasn't expecting to like this one but I gave it a chance for her. I looooooved it! It's only half an hour and just about the cutest show I've seen in a while! It's perfect for when you want to watch something light and don't feel like committing to an entire hour of Ugly Betty.

Chuck

You have seen this show about a million times over the years. The basic set up is that there is this dorky (yet somehow hot) nerd who gets thrown into this Alias-like spy world. The great thing about Chuck is that it knows you have seen this before and it sort of embraces it. Chuck doesn't try to be innovative...instead, it focuses on being the best version of the story it can possibly be. It's fun and touching and has a great cast that commits 100%. I like it a lot!

Pushing Daisies

If you liked Dead Like Me then you will like Pushing Daisies. If you liked french film Amelie then you will like Pushing Daisies. If you liked listening to any of the Harry Potter books on tape you will like Pushing Daisies (Jim Dale narrarates every episode). Pushing Daisies is a quirky little show that deals with death in a very funny way. My only worry about the show is that it depends on it's quirkiness too much. Sometimes we need a little substance and a little less quirky. Check out scene stealer Kristen Chenoweth...she's always annoyed me, but I have to admit her performance in this show really made me reevaluate her annoyance factor!

Make Me a Super Model

I thought I would hate this show because I loved ANTM so much. I was wrong (again)! The great thing about this show is that they have male models too...and I honestly think they are better than most of the women! This is a very fun show and a lot less gimmicky than ANTM. The trash factor is lower and the quality is higher. What's not to love? BTW Perry or Holly are my picks to win!

Celebrity Rehab

Ok! I admit I thought I wasn't going to add this to the list but when I reviewed what I was watching, this was one of the most watched! It's an effing train wreak!!! I really enjoy watching as each one of the celebrities slowly realized that this isn't just another reality show. When they realize that they actually have to stop being junkies the shit hits the fan!!! I feel bad when I watch sometimes...like maybe this show went a little too real for reality tv...but on the same note it's fascinating to watch spoiled rotten celebs be real people. I say give it a chance...but be prepared to be disgusted.

Season 4

So after what? I think it's been about nine months! We finally get a new episode of LOST. YAY!!!! The season 4 premiere (named the beginning of the end) is tonight at time. There is a 9:00 eastern catch up episode at 8:00 so check that out if you need to!

What a pile of SHIT!!!!! This will always go down as the worst cycle of ANTM in my mind! Even more than the cycle they went to Thailand. I didn't care who won towards the end. We all knew Saleisha would take it. As the team over at Jezebel pointed out recently: Saleisha should have never been allowed in the competition:

Rule # 10 of the terms of eligibility for ANTM:
You must NOT have previous experience as a model in a national campaign within the last five (5) years (including, but not limited to, appearances on television and print advertisements).

There was no audience and the judges actually walked down the runway before the show!!! Tyra looked like an evil Disney villain!!! What is going on!?!? It was pretty amusing when Chantal's billowing robe took out the Chinese guy on stilts. I just felt bad for her...there was no way in Hell they were going to choose Chantal over the evil Saleisha.

I will give a more detailed rundown about the show a little later...I think I will take to bed for a while and try to deal with the loss of my favorite show. (heavy sigh)

Bye Bye Bitch pt 10

Ding Dong the witch is dead!!! I have to say I am a little sorry to see Bianca go this week. She was pretty much the only girl that got to say bad things on the show...I will miss her!

It's really hard for me to remain positive about the show now. Last night it was very clear that they were trying to suddenly shove Saleisha down our throats. Every time a person of importance saw her they would say things like, "Saleisha is just amazing" or "every time I see you, you look more and more edgy" or "she's becoming very high fashion". NO SHE'S NOT!!!! She looks like TOOTIE from THE FACTS OF LIFE!!!! TOOTIE IS NOT HIGH FASHION!!!! I really think they are setting us up to accept Saleisha as the winner of this cycle. I really hope I am wrong...I hope that I'm jaded and that I have trust issues...
If Tootie wins I will gouge my eyes out!

The challenge was lame this week. The girls had to dress like different Chinese heroines (the four beauties I think) and then they had to modernize the look. Jenah won the competition and got to have a private runway tutorial with Ms J.

This week was the infamous Tyra photo shoot. She had them dressed as warrior women against a backdrop of the Great Wall of China. They were nice shots! I was impressed.

In panel Jenah had a complete meltdown and Tyra was really mean about it. Jenah was homesick and Tyra made it out like the girl fucking quit or something. Whatever Tyra. In the end Bianca was just not up to par with the other girls! She was sent back to America!

Why oh why could my lovely Heather not rock this week!?!
I'm very depressed now...

This week was all about the go-see! Our five finalists were given a few hours, a taxi, and a translator each. This was hands down the worst batch of go -sees I have ever seen on the show!!! Three girls were disqualified for being late and poor challenged Heather only made 1 of 5 meetings--and was 40 minutes late!!!

Needless to say it was between Bianca and Saleisha for winner of the challenge. I was shocked to see how Saleisha has started behaving. She is smug and annoying...at least Bianca has been a beeeeetch from the beginning! We know what we are getting with her. Saleisha is a sneaky bitch! I don't trust her as far as I can throw her.

Nigel was the photographer this week. Everyone did well but Jenah came across like a bitch. We should all know by now that Nigel does not deal well with assertive women who are not intimidated by him...remember his incident with Caridee?

In the end it was decided that Heather could not make the cut...I'm sooooo effing sad now.

Bye Bye Bitch pt 8

Well the girls made it to China and I was finally able to say good bye to my least favorite Model of all the cycles of ANTM: Lisa. What a great week! Yay! I have to admit, I've had a few moments where I thought maybe I was a little too harsh when it came to Lisa. Was she really as emotionally manipulative as I claimed she was? I don't know. I guess sometimes you just have issues with someone and that's that!

The girls were very excited to be in China! They compared it to Las Vegas...strange, but true. They had a pointless meeting with Mr and Ms J. I mean, really??? They literally found them, said something to the effect of: Welcome....goodbye! Then they sent them to their suite at a ritzy hotel.

This was a point of angst for several of the girls. There were 5 beds and 6 girls. Of course there was one double bed...that meant two were meant to share. Saleisha plopped her broke down ass on the bed and said Heather could sleep on the couch or some shit! Wh-what!?!? I told you Saleisha was a bitch! In the end I think Jenah gave up her single and slept with Heather in the double. This didn't stop Saleisha and Bianca from being catty little skanks. It would be ok if Saleisha was actually model material...she's not...and we all know it.

The challenge was cool this week. They learned fight poses from a Chinese fight choreographer and then had to do them hanging from stunt wires. Most of the girls did well, but Bianca (who just wanted to go shopping) decided that now she was also afraid of heights! That is three girls in one season who have been afflicted with a selective fear of heights: Lisa (rock climbing), Ambreal (gargoyles on the roof) and now Bianca. WHATEVER.

The funniest part was that Heather (who Saleisha and Bianca hate) won the challenge and the prize was...you guessed it...a shopping spree in China! Bianca was livid! I really liked it when Heather chose Chantal to shop with her, because she wanted to show Bianca "tough love".

This week's shoot was the infamous Cover Girl commercial. Saleisha rocked it (as did Chantal). Heather and Lisa bombed BIG. They were truly awful. Heather better get over the awkwardness!!! If not, she'll never win this thing! Lisa was let go and Heather survived to fight another day!

Bye Bye Bitch pt 7

The inevitable came to pass this week...Ambreal was booted and we found out that the girls are going to China! The funniest thing about Ambreal going home was that we all sort of knew it was going to happen. It's like those Final Destination films...you may have been saved once (or twice) but death is still coming for you! Fashion death came for Ambreal...in the form of Tyra Banks!
It was a pretty uneventful week! So much so that this post will be even shorter than usual!

Major points:

Heather is starting to unravel...the other girls (including goody goody Saleisha) smelled the fear and attacked like a pack of hyenas! The poor tard-girl never had a chance against them.
Bianca still doesn't understand why Heather is still there! Note to Bianca: America wonders the same thing about you!

Chantal honestly thinks she is the best one there! She cant hear the truth from anybody...not even Tyra! She was in the bottom two and she still stood there with a "I know I'm not going" look on her face! I wish I was that confident!
I still hate Lisa...but she was really low-key this week.

I think we should look out for Jenah....she may just end up in the final two.

Bye Bye Bitch pt 6

After a few years of not having music videos on ANTM, Tyra surprised us with one more starring Enrique Iglesias. One girl turns into a zombie and passes out! One girl has body issues! Last, but not least, one girl has her dreams crushed forever!!!!

It was a long week for me. I hated waiting for ANTM to come back after having to suffer through the early (and pointless) recap episode! Well the girls were back this week and it was a pretty fun week.

First Tyra taught the girls about how to move like a model. It took me a minute to figure out what was wrong with this picture...then it occurred to me...this is usually taught by Janis Dickinson! Well, I guess they couldn't get her this time because it was taught by Tyra. The thing that worried me was that Tyra seemed really winded the entire time. I thought she was going to fall over and die of a heart attack! The girls learned to walk like a model, slide down a wall like a model, and crawl across the floor like a model.
Very hard core.

The funniest part of the whole lesson was the animosity that Bianca (who isn't very good) had against Heather (who is a natural). I have to admit I thought Heather looked like a total retard when she was crawling but Tyra was all like, "work it Heather"!

They find out that there will be no shoot this week. It's all about applying what they learned to being vampire sluts in Enrique Iglesias' new video.

They all arrive at the shoot and Enrique and the director look at all the girls and choose one to be featured in the video. They pick that skanky Lisa...and much to the dismay of the other girls also choose to feature...you guessed it...HEATHER! The girls were bitter but I think they understood that Heather really did look the part of a vampire that evening.

They all do their little parts and Lisa and Heather do their longer parts and everything is cool... until it's not. Heather gets over heated and under fed and passes out at the shoot. She looked like a damned Zombie. It was nasty. The other girls were horrified but Bianca thought it was funny.

At panel, the judges were surprised at how well most of the girls did. That's just some though. They pretty much ripped into Chantal, Jenah, Sarah, and Ambreal for not applying what they learned. Well, actually, they ripped into Sarah because she was loosing too much weight to be a plus sized model...and not loosing enough to be a regular one.

In the end it was Sarah who got the boot. It's a shame because I really liked her.

Lost Lushes????

Ok, just for the record, I'd like to say I personally have no problem with the fact that some people get arrested for DUI. I mean, really, if you can honestly say you were never friends with someone who was arrested then you must be living under a rock. The ever-so-asian-hot Daniel Dae Kim was arrested recently for DUI. This makes him the 3rd Lost actor to be arrested for DUI and the fourth arrested period (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was arrested for traffic violations). What the Hell??? Are they all lushes? Is there bitterness between the Hawaii police department and the Lost cast? It's all very strange...

What a great week of ANTM! The episode started off pretty slow but by the end it was scandalous!

We started off with the girls being way too nice to each other again! I know Tyra is going with the whole "this is our green cycle" thing. It's very hippy of her! Must our girls all be sweet to each other constantly!?!

There is a knock on the Top Model door about five minutes into the episode and guess who it is...the ever hot Tyson Beckford! The girls completely freak and scream like white trash going to an opening of a Super Walmart! He was there to teach the girls how to be spokes models! They had to go into the kitchen and find something to sell. They all kind of sucked but he was nice to them.

Tyson then took the girls to their competition of the week. They had to make up a promo ad for Keep a Child Alive (African AIDS babies). They were all pretty good. Bianca totally screwed her group by forgetting the name of the organization. Ebony 's group was good, but in the end it was Jenah, Heather and Ambreal who rocked it the most! They won the challenge! Lisa Price (founder of the beauty line "Carol's Daughter") gave two of the girls a $500 gift basket from Carol's Daughter while the third girl got to do a photo shoot with Mary J Blige. They chose the photo shoot girl by pulling a name out of a hat. It was Heather and she rocked the shoot.

The next day we had to listen to Ebony whine about how she wanted to go home! She feels like modeling isn't the thing for her! It was sort of fun watching her around the other girls though! They would just roll their eyes and say , "Yes you do"...

The photo shoot of the week was all about things that you can recycle (boooooring). Each of the girls had to model a recyclable item. There was paper, garbage bags, aluminum cans...well, you get the picture! It was non-eventful. Ebony sucked on purpose and Abreal thought she was bringing it but she wasn't.

The judges were pretty much impressed with the girls. In the end it came down to Ambreal vs. Ebony. Ambreal was sent home....BUT WAIT!!! Ebony speaks up and says she doesn't want to be there anymore! The judges were shocked but the models all looked like they knew it was coming. Tyra says she hates quitters and sends Ebony on her way!

On to the fun part!

This week it was all about posing. This could mean posing while jumping on a tramp-oline (sorry about that), posing while ice skating or even posing as a fashion gargoyle! It was a weird episode so why don't we just get to it!

First off I would like to say the girls seemed to be getting along a little too well at the beginning of the episode! They were all lovey and annoying. The only hint at bitterness was the girls being very slightly annoyed by Janet's obsession with cleaning. Thank God the love fest was interrupted by Tyra mail! The letter basically told them to be ready the next morning for some posing!

Enter: Benny effing Ninja...AGAIN! Skeletor decided that it was his job to teach these girls to pose while in movement. He made them get on a trampoline and pose fiercely. None of them were particularly good but it seemed that maybe Bianca was the best.

This weeks challenge was posing while some guy they barely knew lifted each girl while ice skating. No really! It was very strange! The guest judges were the lady from Seventeen Magazine and Danielle (winner 2 cycles ago). It was pretty shameful. Most of the girls sucked (yet again) but a few REALLY sucked. I think the winner of the all time worst was Heather. It was awesome...she was just awkward and BAD. Unfortunately Lisa was the winner of the challenge. She got to choose two girls to join her in a photo shoot for Seventeen Magazine. She chose Janet and Ebony.

While winners were doing a very hoochified shoot the other girls were at home...being bitches! This win divided the house in half. Apparently a lot of the girls see though Lisa's bullshit just as well as I do! When Lisa and the girls got back it was deliciously tense.

The next day they had their photo shoot. They were supposedly made up to look like high fashion gargoyles! I didn't really get the reference in the clothes but...whatever...I'm not Mr J. Ambreal completely wigged out! They had to do the shoot on top of this really tall building and she is very afraid of heights. I find it strange that she didn't really complain about it when they were rock climbing but yet again...whatever. Most of the girls were pretty good. Lisa yet again stood out (sigh).

At panel things were pretty calm. With no Victoria to attack Twiggy it was even a little boring. We found out that Ebony is afraid to smile because she thinks her gums are to big. Seriously. We also got to see Lisa at her most manipulative. Of course she almost had a breakdown (fake) and totally ratted out the girls that were mean to her (snitch). OK #1: They really were not that mean; #2: Shut up and deal with it yourself; #3: It was so obvious that she was trying to get the judges to feel sorry for her!!! Sorry bitch but you are no Natasha (last cycle)! Natasha was really attacked by the other girls on a daily basis and NEVER whined about it in panel. This ho was barely made fun of and she makes it out like they ate her effing puppy!!! Whatever.

In the end Janet was just a little less modelriffic and was sent packing. She was sad and so was I! I thought they should have kept her for at least another week!

So I saw The Color Purple when it was in previews on Broadway. I thought it was ok. The leading lady (Tony winner Lachanze) was just a little to pretty and well spoken to be really believable as Miss Celie. When she left the show the character of Miss Celie was recast with Fantasia Barrino (one of the winners of American Idol). Like most of America I let out a sigh of disappointment. Really? Fantasia? "Baby Mama" singing Fantasia???

Well...yet again...I was wrong. Apparently Fantasia has infused The Color Purple with life (and it desperately needed it). Here is a clip of Fantasia singing the big torch song of the play (I'm Here) on Oprah. She rocks it way harder than Lachanze ever did.

Bye Bye Bitch!!! pt 4

It is the classic ANTM makeover episode this week! Right on! I love makeover week! Unfortunately most of the girls really liked their makeovers, so we didn't get a lot of drama!

We started with the girls getting "Tyra Mail" about going to get their makeovers. Everyone was really excited except for Chantal who was convinced they were going to cut off all her hair. When they got to makeover central they found Mr and Ms J. The boys were basically there to hold the girls hands, introduce Tyra and (in the end) make fun of the girls that cried.
They switched things up this year! Instead of lame-ass drawings of the girls new looks they did these weird computer morphs. The girls were pretty happy.

There were a few moments of drama! The first was when they tried to take out Ebony's $500.00 weave! Turns out Ebony got a really bad weave for free! They actually had to pull it off her forehead where the weavologist accidentally glued it on! Scandalous! The best bit of drama was defiantly when it was discovered that Bianca had damaged her pink locks to a point where they couldn't complete the makeover! They buzzed that girls hair off and made her start from scratch! It was awesome! The funny thing is that Bianca cried but not nearly as bad as I thought she would. She was really cool and I had to give her props for not taking the moment to go all "theatre" on us!

This weeks challenge was hosted by the oh-so hot Nigel (and unfortunately his wife)! It was the Cover girl challenge. All the girls had a ridiculous amount of time to get dressed and do a completely made up face to be judged. The girl who had the best make up would win something that I honestly can't remember! The point is Janet would have won but she put on the wrong dress! Sarah won instead and everyone was happy that Saleisha finally lost something.

The whole time all this was going on we had to be subjected to listening to Victoria whine about not feeling like a model. SHUT UP VICTORIA!!!! If I had to hear one more time that she was smart and not very good model material i swear I would have put a cigarette out in my eye!

The photo shoot was really fun! Each of the girls were given a specific kind of flower or plant they had to portray. Most of the girls were ok but there were a few train wreaks! Victoria thought way too much about what she was doing and ended up looking stiff. The golden child Saleisha had dead eyes and poor Chantal was left in tears after Mr J and the photographer started telling her opposite things.

Panel was pretty typical. Jenah had the best shot (again) and Victoria tried to attack Twiggy (again). This time Twiggy basically told her that she always came across as abrasive and it was a little offensive. Nigel said she may be smart but she wasn't wise. Nigel is so hot.
In the end it came down to Saleisha and Victoria and Vic was sent packing!

pt 3

It was a fun week for our wanna-be models this week on ANTM! The got to go to a haunted runway class, do a runway challenge for a up and coming designer AND go rock climbing (no really). I really don't know how they manage to cap all their excitement!

The episode started out with Bianca being a crazy bitch. She was giving Kimberly bad advice about runway. Then she got in a screaming match with Saliesha. Saliesha is a weird one. She's gonna turn into YaYa from cycle 3. She's soooo sure she's gonna win this thing! I think she will make it far--but in the end I'm certain her over confidence will end up shooting her in the foot. Bianca has opted to be the bitch of the cycle. I told you they were probably faking us out with Ebony! Bianca is more than willing to fuck with a girl's head to throw her off her game. I suspect Bianca will be here for a while...unless the real villain is still lurking in the shadows!

The focus was on Runway this week. The girls had a class with Ms J in what seemed to be a "haunted" asylum. They had to wear straight jackets and do their most fierce walk. They were all pretty good. Of course Saliesha and Bianca felt it was all about them...truthfully, I think their walks are still a bit American Hoochie, but that's just my opinion.

We had two special guests this week: Roy Cambell and designer Collen Quen. Roy set up a fashion show in which the girls were supposed to be the stars of. They all had to wear Collen's couture. It was pretty cool. I thought that fashion show was way better than some of the finale shows that we've seen

.

The point of the challenge was to be awesome while stuffed into Collen's gowns (which restricted their movement). The winner of the challenge was going to get to go to Paris in a few months to be in Collen's fashion show! That's a pretty cool reward. It came down to Bianca and Saliesha and Saliesha won. Bianca was PISSED.

The photo shoot was couture rock climbing. the girls got made up to look "edgy" (sort of 1980's glam) and then got into a harness and tried to look fabulous. Most of the girls were good. Lisa managed to annoy me with her afraid of heights crap. She's so manipulative. I really was impressed with most of the girls in this challenge.

Panel was pretty standard. Tyra tried to be funny by talking in this bad French accent. Yawn. Most of the girls did well in panel. Victoria seems to have it out for Twiggy. She needs to show an icon a little more respect! That pissed me off. All Twiggy did was say something about how Victoria's photo was "unusual" and Victoria got all defensive! Twiggy didn't even say it in a bad way! It was an effing compliment! Victoria immediately shot back: "What IS unusual about me?" Shut up and pose Vic!

In the end my preshow pick for winner (Kimberly) was chosen to go home. It was sad...I really liked her.

So what's up with Tyra's stand against smoking!?! Whatevah!!! I am also a little over the fact that I don't have access to the photos until the Monday after the "encore" show. That's lame.
The episode started with the girls moving into their new home. This years theme is "green" (as in tree hugging green). It's totally boring...but defiantly better then the freaky all Tyra house that we've seen before. Most of the girls are getting along...but they are pretty mean to Heather (the autistic one).

Tyra went all psycho crazy and said that the first photo shoot was going to be all about the evils of smoking! The girls had to take a fabulous shot while smoking and looking in a mirror. Next they took a nasty "effects of smoking" shot that would be reflected in the mirror later. It was so dumb. Most of the girls did well. Mila (little miss sunshine) thought it was hilarious and laughed through most of her shoot. For once I actually liked her!

The challenge of the week was to buy the perfect Model outfit to show up to panel in. Benny Ninja aka Skelator was waiting at Old Navy for the girls. He was just as creepy as ever. Oh and ...Old Navy? Really?

At panel Saleisha won the challenge and Lisa cried...AGAIN. Never in Top Model history have I disliked a girl as much as I dislike her. Ugh. Mila sucked in her Q&A and was the girl who was sent home! It's funny because I honestly think she didn't have the worst pic.

Cycle 9

Tonight was the first episode of ANTM! Though I was pissed that the premier was only an hour long, it was pretty damned good.
The show opened with Tyra calling the semi final girls and telling them they were going to go to the Caribbean! AAAHHHH! (That was the general reaction.)
They get off the plane and get onto a cruise ship where they will be doing their final auditions. We meet all the semi finalist and (as usual) there was a lot of "I AM America's Next Top Model!" Yawn. Those girls never make it past the semi-finals.
When we finally got to the actual auditions there were a few surprises. My favorite was Heather, who immediately put her foot in her mouth! She walks in and says, "Hello pretty ladies...and Tyra!" Hilarious! Mr and Ms Jay were horrified! Turns out that she has some sort of disorder that makes her mildly autistic! Yay! She's socially awkward and sort of retarded in a round about way. I love it!
Chantal was pretty impressive. I ripped her apart (Heather too) in my preshow post, then the bitch turned around and rocked it! She had a lot of fashion knowledge and a pretty good walk. It was a battle of the sob stories between Lisa and Marvita. Marvita was raped. molested, beaten and passed around from family to family as a child. Lisa was in six different foster homes and grew up to be an exotic dancer that shows no nudity (yeah right). In the end, Lisa was a prettier cryer so she made the cut.

They did a photo shoot on the beach and met last years winner Jaslene. Speaking of Jaslene: Her "My life as a Cover Girl" ad was pretty good. She no longer does her weird eyebrow thing when she talks, but she still sounds like a retarded dolphin.

In the end thirteen girls were picked...and you already know who they are so on to the fun stuff:

Sarah is the fat girl and Janet is the girl from a really small town. I picked them because Sarah came in to her audition with something in her nose and because Janet did a pretend bikini wax on Tyra.

Lisa is the most annoying person to me this season. She walked in whining and I suspect she will whine her way to the final five. Her voice gives me shingles.
Victoria is the "I auditioned as a joke" girl. When she gets over that I will like her more. She reminds me of Millie from Freaks and Geeks.

Most Freakishly Happy:

Mila

She was one of the only girls that didn't take the "have a breakdown for Tyra" bait. She's bubbly and happy all the time. I may hate her.

She's definitely the villain of the season...but watch out! ANTM is notorious for letting us believe a girl is the bad guy and then revealing the bad guy later in the cycle! Best example of this would be Monique in cycle 7 who we thought was the big bad! Turns out it was really Smellrose!!!!

Amber: Crazy Ho or just Misunderstood?

So if you've been reading this blog for a while you already know I'm a huge Big Brother fan. I haven't been able to blog much about this season -- but I have been watching. Today I wanted to talk about the very annoying Amber. Amber is this sort of trashy girl that was in the house for a pretty long time. Recently she made international news because she made some pretty shitty comments about Jews and New Yorkers. Because of these comments CBS has decided not to interview her or anyone else evicted after her on The Early Show. We have also not been allowed to see what is going on in the sequester house.

I found the video of the conversation Amber had with Jameka about Jews and New Yorkers. I will post it at the end of this post. Do you think the world is overreacting a bit or should Amber be completely shipped off to an island to live by herself? You be the judge!

Oh Mah Gah Y'all!!!! It's totally that time again!!! ANTM cycle 9 starts Wednesday, September 19th and you bitches better be there! As usual, I am going to give my opinions of the new girls based completely on their first shots. I was totally wrong last cycle...let's hope I'm a better judge of character this time around! Here we go y'all:

LISA

Lisa...well, I just sort of think she's blah in this photo! I've seen this girl on ANTM before...in one cycle she was called Mercedes, in another Nic...this look bores the shit out me now! Hopefully makeover day will rock this beeeetch out!

Chantal

Chantal intrigues me! She reminds me of the high school girls I was obsessed with when I was a small boy. Her lip gloss is poppin' but that blouse is soooo last year. I wonder if she will be the short haircut girl this season. I can hear it now: "We really feel like you are too commercial so we decided to chop all your hair off! We want you too look edgy like Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby!"

Sarah

Alright Sarah! Is it just me or does she favor tv's Wonder Woman: Lynda Carter in the face! I have to co-sign her just for that! She needs to be careful though...Tyra may rip that wide belt off to add to her collection! This may be the first girl to go...

Janet is another that bores the shit out of me! I do recognize a certain devilish twinkle in her eyes that gives me a little hope...or she could just be mildly retarded...hard to say...

Jenah looks crazy as a loon and that makes me love her! Fun! I think she will either be annoying or brilliant! There will be no in between. I hope they change that hair a lot!

Kimberly

I'm lovin' this girl at first glance. She's like a baby Milla Jovavitch! Long legs and awesome eyes- -She may be my favorite going into this cycle!

Mila

This girl looks broke down! I really don't like her at first glance. I suspect she will be the girl everyone hates. She may also be like Natasha (cycle 8). I didn't like her very much going into cycle 8, but by the end I really wanted her to win!

Saliesha

She looks like a beeeotch to me! I think she will be the over confidant girl that has to learn she's not all that! She may surprise me and be the girl next door...but she certainly doesn't photograph like one!

Victoria

She is the Shandi (cycle 2) of the season I bet! I don't think she'll be around for long but I have been wrong in the past. She does have that normal girl look that could easily translate well to film.

Ambreal

Looks like a hot mess to me! I hope she is fun to watch because this first photo kinda sucks.

Bianca

Blahhh! This girl does absolutely nothing for me. I bet she is the girl Tyra will keep forever while we sit at home and wonder why! Examples of this girl are: Kesse (cycle 1), Camille (cycle 2), Anne (cycle 3), Keenyah (cycle 4), Bre (cycle 5), Furonda (cycle 6), Eugena (cycle 7), Dionne (cycle 8)! Every cycle has this girl and sometimes she is very entertaining (see: Camille, Furonda, and Dionne).

Ebony

This is the third Ebony in 9 cycles of ANTM. One thing I can say for the Ebonys is that they are always entertaining. From the look of this photo, I bet this one is gonna be a whole lot of fun! I think she is the girl I'm most eager to watch on tv!
By the way...was she one of the Flava of Love's Charm School girlz???

My favorite LOST episodes
season 3

Season 3 was almost as good as season 1. It introduced us to new characters and by the end of the season we really had no idea where the show was going to go in the final three seasons! We are at the halfway point and I'm as excited as I can be to see what happens next.
I have to say, this season was the hardest to pick episodes for! I had so many favorites that I had to edit them down. Just for the record though, if I could have added:

A Tale of Two Cities

This is the season premier and what a premier it was! We meet my new favorite character (Juliet) and begin to find out what the Others are all about. This is a Jack flashback, but the island stuff is the real reason to watch!

The Cost Of Living

We finally get to see the monster kill a character in this episode! So that's how it does it! This is an Eko episode but the real action is on island not in flashbacks.

I Do

This was the mini-season finale. They released the first six episodes in the early fall and then went on a huge hiatus. This episode is worth watching for the last five minutes!

Not In Portland

So how is it that Juliet got involved with the Others? This is the episode that explains it all. Very engaging and a great episode to get us back into the swing of things after the mini-season! Wonder how the Others have such loyal followers? Check out their training methods in this episode!

Flashes Before Your Eyes

I have one thing to say about this episode: What the Hell!?!?
Desmond is the focus of this episode and while he may have annoyed me through season 2, he rocks in season 3.

The Man From Tallahassee

Ever wonder how Locke was put in that wheelchair? Well, here is the answer! This episode has it all: mythology, character development, mystery, and what? ANSWERS!

One Of Us

We pick up where Juliet comes to the island and discover there is a lot more to her than we realized in the beginning. We get a better sense of how the Others get their off-island info and we get a nice surprise at the end of the episode!

The Man Behind the Curtain

We finally get to see a Ben flashback! This one is scandalous and awesome! Ben is one screwed up guy. I dare to say his father was slightly more screwed up though. We also get to meet Jacob...well...sorta...

Through the Looking Glass

The third season finale and in my opinion the best one yet. The producers nicknamed the big twist at the end "the rattlesnake" and when you see it you will know why! I was speechless for days!

MY FAVORITE LOST EPISODES
Season 2
or what I like to call:
DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

as the title to this post suggests...
SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!!

Of the three seasons of LOST that we've seen so far the second was my least favorite. There were a handful of episode that were great so here we go!!!

Man of Science, Man of Faith

This was the season premier and also the premier of the hatch and it's inhabitant--Desmond! This was also one of the last Jack flashback episodes that was interesting. Over all it was a great season opener and really did a good job of letting us know what to expect for the rest of the season!

The Other 48 Days

WOW. You wanted to know what happened to the tail section of the plane? Well this episode gives you all the answers. A fun (and tragic) look at what happened to the b-list passengers of flight 815.

The 23rd Psalm

This is an Eko-centric episode. I really disliked Eko. I never understood why he was such a fan favorite! I'm supposing it is because whenever an episode focused on him something cool always happened. In this case is was the monster! We finally get a great view of monster!!!

Maternity Leave

Claire annoys me. She REALLY annoys me. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised at what happened in this Claire-centric episode. We got answers out to HERE!!! We find out what exactly happened to Claire when she was kidnapped for a week during season 1.

SOS

This isn't really one of those episodes that moves the over all story along, but I love it all the same. This is about Rose and Bernard and why they were on flight 815. It is sweet and very much about character rather than mythology. I loved it.

Two for the Road

Scandalous!!!! Pure scandal!!! I couldn't believe what happened at the end of this episode. I hated Ana Lucia and this episode helped me hate her a little less. This episode is really the catalyst for the rest of what happens in the season.

Three Minutes

A Micheal-centric episode. It tells you what happened when he ran off looking for Walt. It's very interesting and definitely should be considered the first part of a three part season finale.

Live Together, Die Alone

The season finale and the answer to what happens when you don't push "the button".
Most certainly a season 2 must see.

Ahhh summer...(yawn)

Well it is summer and unfortunately that means death to television in general! Sorry that it's taken me so long to get back into blog world...my mama passed away in May and I've been a little distracted. Let's get on with a few little tie ups so we can move on to summer shows!

We have our first Latina Top Model! Even though she sounded a bit like a retarded dolphin when she talked I think she did a pretty good job. I think Rene' got robbed! I loved Natasha (and was rooting for her) but Jaslene kicked her butt in the end so...

What the Hell!?!?! They got off the island!?!? Well, at least Jack and Kate did!!!! There are still three more seasons left! I have no idea what is going to happen here but I think it's going to be good! Bravo for an excellent 3rd season! I think I'm going to go ahead and finish up my favorite episodes of lost blogs so look forward to that in the future!

By far my favorite new show of the year! Bad Ass!!! Will Betty and Henry EVER get together? Will Betty's dad ever come home?? What are Hilda and Justin going to do? Amanda is Faye's daughter!?!? Shut up!!! Will Daniel and his brother/sister (Alex/Alexis) survive the car crash!? I can't wait till this show comes back!

Battlestar Gallactica

Starbuck is back!!! Is she the final Cylon?? We still have one more for them to reveal and I personally hope she isn't it! Have they really found Earth? I hear this upcoming season will be it for the show...I hope they wrap it up nicely!!

Ok that is it for now. I know I will be rockin' Big Brother this summer...I'm not sure (yet) if I will focus on something else. We'll see...

Where The Hell Have I Been!?!?

I can't believe I haven't written a post since Anna Nicole passed away! What the Hell!? Well I can assure you that I have not been in great mourning over her. I have not been kidnapped by "the others" and I have not been in an accident that destroyed my short term memory. I've actually been really (really) busy. Once again I accepted a few too many jobs and got a little backed up. In the long run things are good with me and now that I have some time on my hands I am back in the blogging saddle.

You will be glad to know that I have still managed to see my favorite television shows! Yay! The next few posts will be all about me talking about them! That should be fun!

America's Next Top Model
cycle 8

Well what a strange cycle this has been! For the first time in a while the catch up episode was helpful!

We found out that Rene isn't the evil bitch we thought she was in the beginning. Sometimes Mommies can stick it through to the end (hopefully).

We found out Jael just wanted to "spread light" and "touch the grass and the animals and climb the trees". (I want some of whatever she's on.)

Natasha is turning out to be my favorite going into the final four! She has tried the hardest of any girl in any cycle to give the judges what they want.

"Fat" girls should not try to be models because Tyra hates them and she KILLS THEM and eats them all!!!!

Last (but not least) Britney has soul cancer (HEY ANTPodcast!) and it obviously caused her to get hit by a car when she was in high school which caused her to loose her short term memory which is obviously the reason she can't perform the tasks that are required for her to be America's Next Top Model--and that is SOOOO not her fault. (sniff, sniff). Dear Brit: Top models must have excellent short term memory and their soul cancer can't be malignant. DUH.

It's been a long time since I've been able to say this:

ANNA NICOLE SMITH
1967-2007

Anna Nicole Smith passed away today. No matter what you may think about her, she went through hard times this past year and it is really sad that she died. They haven't said what the cause of death was yet. I hope that she is happy (wherever she is) and that she has been reunited with her eldest child who passed away this past September.
To wrap it up I would just like to say that I think Anna did the best job she could with her life and this is my way of lighting a candle for her.

"It's Not Just Fierce It's Ferocious"

How excited am I!?!?! I can't believe it is time for another Top Model already! As usual I will be giving my impressions of our finalists. Keep in mind these impressions are completely based on their photos and the little blurbs on their portfolio pages.

I think she is defiantly the prettiest girl (in a very conventional way). I think she also took one of the best shots pre show. I worry that she is a stay at home mom. They are usually the ones who freak out and end up loosing.

I will end up either LOVING this girl or HATING her. There will be no in between. She manages bands...is that another word for groupie???

Whitney
I hate to ask...is she a plus size model? She will have to step up her game if she is. Her face in this shot sort of sux...dead eyes. I wonder if Tyra will keep her around because of her new found weight crusade???

SamanthaSamantha is my favorite going into the competition. I love her photo and I hope she rocks it out on the show. I like her look..it's very southern. I'm very southern...it's a match made in heaven. Hope she doesn't turn out to be the girl with no self esteem.

CONGRATULATIONS CARIDEE!!!

Eugena was the first to go when the girls had to do a Cover Girl commercial and photo shoot on the finale of ANTM. The girls all showed up and they had to do the typical commercial/shoot that they do every year. It's basically blatant product placement for some random Cover Girl product.

The girls did well. Eugena was surprisingly good and Caridee rocked the casbah. Smellrose bit the big one though. It was great to see another Smellrose melt down. My girl has some serious issues!

The next day they had elimination. By all practical purposes this should have been Smellrose's swan song...her photo sucked and her commercial seemed forced. The judges took pity on her and canned Eugena. I have to say I was shocked. I loved how Caridee whispered to Eugena before she walked away that she would not let Smellrose win! Tooooo funny! This is the first time in Top Model history that two blond girls were in the final two.

Now we were down to the final two: Caridee and Smellrose. They were taken to their last challenge. It was a runway show. I need to take a moment to bitch. Last cycle they had the weird runway show that seemed completely faux. This year the show seemed like it might be cool but it wasn't. It was so incredibly lame that I almost had to turn it off.
The girls were dressed up in bridal wear and in the end they had to run around like ghost brides screaming and looking all crazy. Whatever Tyra. What was up with Ms J making a weird appearance in the show? Sometimes I think Tyra and the Judges all get stoned and watch these runway shows so they can laugh their asses off at the dumb ass models!

Caridee went way over the top and "accidentally" stepped on Smelrose's gown. She ripped it and Smellrose threw a big ole hissy fit. Truth be told, Smellrose was the better girl at the runway show. I have to say I started to get really nervous!

The judges did their final panel and pretty much told Caridee her performance sucked the big one. Smellrose was complimented but told that she sucked on the Cover Girl shoot. Whatever was going to happen!?!?!

In the End Caridee won and Smellrose was absolutely crushed. He He He.

Well everyone it was fun....waaaay fun and I am pleased to tell you that in addition to posting the episodes of Cycle 1 of ANTM I will also be "bye bye bitching" about the CW's hiatus replacement Britain's Next Top Model! There are two two-hour specials on the 13th and the 20th that sum up cycle 1 and cycle 2. Yay!

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL
Bye Bye Bitch!!! pt 10

Amanda was the last girl before the finale to be sent home! I have to say I definitely did not agree with this decision. Whatever. My opinion officially doesn't count so on to the recap!

The big reward competition was Flamenco Dancing. The girls were taught how to dance by their partners on one day and then they had to perform in front of an audience the next. Amanda was pretty much crapping her panties because she knew she was awkward. Smellrose was confident and velociraptor-like the whole time. Eugena was playing her role as catty bitch to the hilt and Caridee was...well...she was Caridee...

The actual dancing sort of sucked but Amanda practiced a lot the night before so she didn't suck too bad. Smellrose bit the big one. She screwed up one of the first steps and just sort of never recovered. Eugena (who was a dancer when she was younger) did well and Caridee did fine...not anything to write home about.

Eugena won the competition and she chose Amanda to be her co-rewardee. They got some clothes...it was a little lame. The best part of the whole dancing excersize was Smellrose freaking out because she didn't win. She had a total meltdown...it was awesome.

The photo shoot was interesting this week. The girls were divided into pairs (Eugena/Smellrose and Amanda/Caridee). They got flowy dresses and extentions and were told to float on their backs in a pool. They were supposed to look like water nymphs.

Eugena and Smellrose were first and Eugena sucked as usual. I guess it didn't help that Smellrose and Eugena hate each other! They got through the shoot just fine but complained about the freezing water a lot.

Caridee and Amanda did really well---except for the fact that Caridee had to be removed from the pool because she was starting to develop hypothermia!!! It was sooooo funny! She was shaking so hard! Props to Amanda for letting them take photos of her alone!

The judge's panel was confusing and pretty much LAME. Whatever Tyra! She tried to show the girls how to dance and totally lost her shoe! Priceless! I do not understand how they kept Ewwwgena over Amanda!?! What the Hell? Let the photos speak for themselves!

BYE BYE BITCHES!!! parts 8 and 9

So due to my work schedule we are gonna have to kill two birds with one stone! Last week Masculinda was kicked off the show. Her elimination was about as interesting as her tenure in the world of Top Model. For that reason I will not bother with a long drawn out explanation of what went on in that episode. This week lesbionic model Michelle was kicked to the curb!

A few points from last weeks episode that should catch you up:

*The models did and acting competition and Caridee won it
*Tyra informed the remaining girls they would be travelling to Barcelona, Spain this year.
*Caridee totally screwed up their commercial challenge and almost got her ass kicked off the show.
*Jaeda is sent home a few days after she makes it to Spain!

This week was a little more interesting. The big challenge of the week was the infamous "go see" challenge. The girls were given a set amount of time and a list of ten designers to interview with. They all did OK except for Michelle and Amanda. They pretty much sucked at this competition. Of course Smellrose won it in the end and rubbed it in everyone else's face. These girls are starting to seriously hate that girl!

The big photo shoot of the week was with Mr Nigel Barker. It was set in a bull ring. It was pretty funny when Mr Jay came out in a bull fighter's costume. He looked super swishy! All was well at the bull ring until Caridee opened her stupid mouth. Nigel was holding this stick. I think it was a prop of some sort. Caridee looks at Nigel and says, "Did you get that from your ass after the last Panel?"

What a DUMB ASS!!! What was she thinking??? I really have no clue. Nigel was offended. She spent the rest of the day trying to make up for it. Her shoot kind of sucked because of all her worrying.

Unfortunately there were no tragedies with the bull. I was really looking forward to one. I KNOW they could have sacrificed a model for my amusement. Don't let me down like that again Tyra.

Panel was awkward and tense. Caridee wrote an apology letter to Nigel and the other judges. It was sort of lame but it probably kept her in the game. Smellrose did well (as usual). I just don't understand why they thought her photo was so good. She looked like a moose dressed in drag. The big shocker was Amanda. For some reason the judges just sort of fixated on her and it was very evident she was going to be in the bottom two. I really didn't get it. I thought her photo was way better than Smellrose's.

The girls were all asked to say who they thought was good enough to win the competition AND who they thought sucked. A lot of girls said Amanda which pretty much sealed her fate in the bottom two. When it was Michelle's turn she totally said that she thought of herself as the weakest link amongst them. I have to say that I thought it was very evident that she was throwing herself under the bus so that Amanda could stay in the game. I'm glad that Tyra recognized that too.
In the end it came down to the twins and Michelle was sent home.

Once again Caridee is America's favorite. I suspect the producers of ANTM are making us think that Caridee is going home soon so that we won't realize that she is the only choice left to win the competition. Hey producers! We aren't stupid!

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL
Bye Bye Bitch!!! pt 7

After changing from really cool girl to really annoying beeotch, Anchal was eliminated from America's Next Top Model. I was such a huge fan of hers but she really just sort of sucked at the end. Unfortunately the "fat" girls are always the ones that loose every bit of personality right before the big trip abroad. Because Anchal had the life sucked out of her by Smellrose and the other girls she will not be able to go to Spain (I'm guessing that will be the trip destination).

The episode started off good enough. Brooke is being missed by all the girls and they sit around with an guitar and sing. It was actually sort of annoying. The first challenge of the week was to get into bikinis and learn how to take action shots. It was hosted by Model/athlete Gabrielle Reece. They all pretty much sucked at it but for some reason Anchal became the whiniest bitch on earth. I don't get it at all.

Back at home Smellrose and Anchal have it out one more time. Smellrose says Anchal is childish and that she has no respect for other people in the house. Anchal says that she is going to have to slap that ho down. It was a great Top Model moment.

Next challenge has to do with action shots again. The meet James St John and race car driver Stanton Barret at a race track. They are supposed to attack the hot race car driver and take a photo of themselves while doing it. It was a very Survivor like task: Waaaaay too complicated!

Most of the girls were ok (but kinda sucky) and Michelle got on top of the guys car and punctured it with her high heel. Masculinda looked like the scariest bitch ever. I thought she was gonna eat his face off! The best part of this competition is that James St John was sooo obviously fucked up the entire time. I want some of what he's having!

Michelle wins the competition. She gets to choose 3 girls to go with her on a shopping spree. She chose CariDee, Amanda, and Smellrose. Be careful to notice that all the women of color were left out. I don't think this was intentional but it was pretty funny. Anchal, Eugena and Masculinda were totally the ugly step sisters sitting on the side lines. Bitter!!!

The funniest part of the whole thing was that the white girls all had to compete against each other. Whoever picked the most clothes got to keep ALL the clothes (even Michelle's). What a crappy competition to win! Smellrose won. The girls were bitter. Smellrose didn't even share! What a skank!

The final photo shoot was set inside a training facility for sky divers. The models were supposed to look like they were floating in space. This was probably the worst set of photos I have ever seen on the show. They all pretty much looked lame.

Panel was fun because this week they had a task. They each got different adjectives and verbs they had to interpret through movement. Most of the girls were lackluster at best. The stand out was Caridee who had to "hide dizzily". She was sooo funny. I like her even more now! It is funny that she annoyed me so much in the beginning!

In the end it came down to Anchal and Michelle. Anchal left and when she hugged Smellrose goodbye she said, "I still hate you." Smellrose said, "I hate you too." Then Achal blew it by saying she was just kidding. Whatever! Anchal really let me down this time.

So I suck! I've just moved across the country and am trying to catch up with all the shows I blog about! I promise that I will do that ASAP.
